Another day in the black studio, decided to do something fun and creative, had my friend model for me whilst my other friend poured water down his face, "freeze motion" kinda vibe, yet again another dark, contrasty , black and white photo. Really like how his other eye isn't as visible as the other and the strong look on his face, and the strong jaw line, also like the water going over his left eye in that manner.

So today i photographed my first pregnancy photoshoot. i had quite a lot of fun, dealing with a her complaining about her sore and swollen feet. this was one of my favourite shots i got today, yet again, its a dark contrasty photo. people mostly expect pregnancy photoshoots to be cheesy etc, well it doesn't have to be, I approached it in a fun creative matter. i really like the composition and the light in this photo, I'm sure viewers are starting to see a pattern in the type of photos i take, and the lighting and of course black and white photos.
so I really did enjoy the shoot i did today, wasnt as bad as I had thought it would be.

A portrait of these two, believe it or not, they didn't even know each other, but they were able to spark up the magic. Got them to turn up the heat a little and get intimate , after a couple shots, this was the one where it was just so intense and intimate and was the shot of that day, I like the lighting, composition and contrast of this image, and of course its a black & white image. As I am a huge fan of Black and white, just gives the image such simplicity.

Another one from the black studio, using a single studio light from the side, the image is very high in contrast. With the face of the model slightly visible from the side, a shot that inspired this one of mine was a shot i had seen on pinterest of a famous male model,and i decided to give it a shot, and i honestly liked what i got.

Most of my work is done in the black studio, this is another portrait, that i really love. used back lighting. i love the silhouette effect it gives to the image. and her hair being blown by the fan, also love the emotion and level of contrast in this photograph.

A portrait taken in the black studio, using two studio lights. i like this photo because of the way the color work, the red and the black, and the one eye that is showing that captures you. love the high contrast in the photo. just has such a fierce look and intense look in her "eye".
